A ribbon cutting a ceremonial event announcing the opening of your business, expansion or relocation. It can be held on the first day of business or week or months following. An actual ribbon is cut surrounded by business colleagues and community leaders and members. The ribbon cutting marks a significant moment in your business history and also serves as a photo opportunity. The Chamber will take a photograph and invite local newspapers to take a photograph as well.
You must be new or current Chamber member in good standing (dues are current) for the D’Iberville/St. Martin Area Chamber of Commerce to assist you in conducting a ribbon cutting.
What are the Benefits of Holding a Chamber Ribbon Cutting?
Great opportunity to introduce your product and business to other businesses in the community. Photograph taken will appear in the local newspaper and the chamber newsletter.
What does the Chamber Charge for a Ribbon Cutting?
There is no charge for D’Iberville/St. Martin Chamber Members.
What does the Chamber do for my Business Ribbon Cutting?
Provide you with the bow and ribbon. Bring large ribbon cutting scissors for the official cutting of the ribbon. Invite the Mayor and City Council, Chamber Board of Directors, chamber members and local media.
